Phoenix Shopping Centre is proud to support our local community.

If you wish to apply for funding support for your community organisation or project, fundraising event, school or sporting group, requests must be made in writing.

To apply, your application should include the following:

  • Submit written request on letterhead
  • Short description of your organisation or group
  • Details on what the money will be used for and why and who it would benefit
  • Organisation associated paperwork, references, history, photographs – that may be used for marketing purposes by PSC when promoting the grant recipient
  • Show how our support could benefit the general local community/ residents in the vicinity of Phoenix Shopping Centre
  • Opportunity of acknowledgment for Phoenix Shopping Centre’s monetary support

Spearwood Bulls Softball Club

Phoenix Shopping Centre is very pleased to announce the fourth recipient of the Phoenix Loves Community program is the Spearwood Bulls Softball Club. The Spearwood Bulls Softball Club is a newly formed men’s team. Their vision is to see the club grow to include further teams varying in age and gender to involve even more members of the local neighbourhood. We see the importance of local team sport in bringing together people and their communities, as well as encouraging good health through physical activity. The $1000 in monetary assistance from Phoenix Shopping Centre will assist in the purchase of new sporting equipment requirements.

Cockburn Volunteer Sea Search and Rescue

Phoenix Shopping Centre recently announced our second recipient of the Phoenix Loves Community program as Cockburn Volunteer Sea Search and Rescue. The monetary assistance provided by Phoenix Shopping Centre will assist in the purchase of a marine radio communication package for a new vessel to be used in volunteer marine rescue services provided by Cockburn Volunteer Sea Search and Rescue. This organisation makes a significant, positive impact on the surrounding community and we are proud to support their efforts.

Community Noticeboard

Phoenix is pleased to invite local community members to display notices and flyers relating to topics such as local events, fundraising and school or sporting groups on the Phoenix Community Noticeboard.

The noticeboard is located at the south eastern entrance, (close to Big W and Woolworths) near the car park lift. Notices are to be supplied first to the Centre Management office for approval. All notices must be no larger than A4 and will be rotated on a regular basis.

Phoenix Shopping Centre now offers FREE WIFI in the Food Court

Instructions for use (when in the Food Court area):
1. Simply turn on your mobile WiFi
2. Select PhoenixWiFi
3. Now enjoy FREE* internet and email on us in the Food Court

Meet at 7:30am for a 7:45am start.
Enter Through the South entrance at the Post Office, and meet out the front of Coles.

Phoenix Shopping Centre is an official host location for the Heart Foundation Walking Program, in conjunction with the local City of Cockburn council. Join the group and walk in our safe, clean and covered mall area for some fun exercise!

New Recycling Bin Station

Drop off your household batteries at the dedicated battery bin at Phoenix Shopping Centre and help save precious resources and the environment. We recycle these batteries through the City of Cockburn recycling program.

Note: Battery Recycling Bin located at the Phoenix Community Notice Board (near lift to upper southern car park area)
